What does Massachusetts law require to be a licensed electrician and do elecrical work?
In the state of Massachusetts an applicant must complete an approved electrical journeyman's college course consisting of 600 hours, 8,000 hours as a working electrician's apprentice and score at least 70% on the exam. Also, as a license holder you must complete 21 hours of continuing education each renewal cycle.
